Join The Bandwagon: Hydraluron

I have heard quite a few beauty bloggers rave about this tiny product in they're skincare routine. As a result of this I had to go and buy it for myself (of course).

So what is it?
Hydraluron is essentially a hydrating face serum. Simple as that.

Who makes it?
Indeed Labs based in Canada make this little serum along with a few other products like nanoblur and snoxin. They claim to be cost effective (not at first glance) and result orientated! They specifically make face and eye serums specifically for problems like dehydration and anti-aging!

What about bad ingredients?
Well, the serum actually only has two ingredients! I know, shocker!
Hyaluronic acid - now if you know your skin care you know how fantastic this ingredient is! It has a really small molecular structure in order to skin right through your pores and into the deepest layers of your skin. It also has insane moisturising abilities! It's said to hold up 1000 times it''s weight in water.

Red Marine Algae - This is a bio engineered strain which apparently increases cell turnover, (make you look younger) firms and smooths the skin! Sounds good to me!

So what does it actually do?
Well this product is said to boost your skins moisture intake making any serum/moisturiser you put on top work better! It gives you a smooth texture and is supposed to give a more younger look to the skin.

Does it work?
I believe that it does work in giving moisture and maintaining moisture! As i have dehydrated skin this helps me make the most of my moisturisers (and keeps them from running out as quick). This does really make my skin silky smooth however i can't really say anything about the anti-aging properties. As i'm only 19 (in a couple of day) I din't think i would be able to see this taking affect!

Is it worth the price?
At £24.99 for a measly 30ml tube I didn't think it would be! I am extremely surprised at how long this lasts though. I could probably find something cheap that does the same job (considering i don't get all the benefits) but i really love this product and will continue repurchasing it!

Have you tried this?
So I hope you enjoyed my review!

Love you and leave you!

Empties #1

I wouldn't be an official beauty blogger if i didn't have loads of products just waiting for me to use! In the last couple of months this little bundle has accumulated at the back of my wardrobe (don't worry the masks have been cleaned out!)! This clearly isn't much considering but i just hate finishing products! Well here is my mini reviews;

Lush

Oatifix - This is one of the fresh face masks which means that they have to be kept in the fridge and only have a short life span of about four weeks! Its advertised as a mask for dry skin, containing loads of bananas and oats to hydrate. I used this mask in the chilly month of January when my skin was really dehydrated and it didn't do much for me. The product itself was actually really hard in the pot and when applied i felt that i had to really drag my skin before it turned oily on my skin. I tried warming it up in my hands for a few minuted but i still had the same outcome. When i washed this off I didn't feel or see much of a difference and so half of this product went in the bin!
My rate - 0/5

Mask Of Magnaminty - The only long life spanning at four months face mask that Lush do. Advertised as for those with acne. I tried this because I have suffered with acne since i was about 10. When applied  it was rather cooling on the skin which i found relaxing and then my face began to tingle. I did like this however I think many people wouldn't! As there was quite a few chunks in this mask, removing it also doubled as an exfoliator however i found this too harsh for my skin and usually had to pick the bigger bits off first. I didn't see much difference in reducing my spots or even reducing the redness which is a shame.
My rate - 1/5

Angels On Bare Skin - This is the most popular cleanser from Lush! I let me tell you, I can see why! This is a clay based cleanser which is said to be good for all different types of skin! You simply take a pea sized amount add some luke warm water, I then rub it together on my palm to make a paste like formula then pop it on my face like a mask. The product contains ground almonds which are perfect for giving slight exfoliation to even sensitive skins and when i take this off i really feel it working! My skin is baby soft and smooth! The one bad thing about it, is it gets everywhere! I tend to use this in the shower once every two days and this works well considering i have two empty tubs!

Boots

Tresemme Thermal Recovery Intense Repair And Rehydration Treatment Masque  - What a long name! I bought this on a whim, not knowing much about the product at all. The mask made my hair silky smooth and more hydrated than usual but I still wasn't overly impressed. I don't think it repaired my hair in any way (my hairs too gone for that) and just seemed like a good conditioner to be perfectly blunt about it.
My rate - 2/5

Soap & Glory Thick & Fast Super Volume Mascara - Another product that i bought on a whim and yet i was really surprised. This is the first make-up product that i've tried by Soap & Glory and now i can't wait to try more! The mascara is thick but not clumpy and glides on my lashes. As for volume i didn't feel like they gave me much but they did make my lashes look longer and thicker! I also really likes how dark this mascara was, i don't know if i'm making this up (tell me if you've experience the same) but it think its a more intense black than other mascaras that i've tried. However i felt that i used it up really quickly!

Studio Sculpt SPF15 Foundation - I'm in shade NC15. I wanted a good coverage foundation that would keep my skin hydrated during the winter and thats exactly what i got! When my skin is really dehydrated it tends to drink up any makeup that i'm wearing so i needed one which was thicker and hydrating to last the entire day. The foundation had a really nice gel like formula that i loved and the coverage was fantastic! My redness and most of my spots were covered giving me a good base to work with. I felt that this foundation really did last all day on me and only kind of separated really late at night which was fine as i took it off as soon as i got home (most of the time). The colour match was good as well. The packaging was the best, i always got foundation over the tube and then it would transfer onto my drawers and onto other products in my make up bag (messy messy).
My rate - 4/5

Pro Longwear Concealer - In shade NW20. i honestly don't know why i agreed to take this concealer in this shade! It was far to dark for my skin! The woman at the counter somehow talked me into talking it even though i always thought that your concealer should be slightly lighter than your foundation (especially if used under the eyes) in order to brighten. Maybe i'm wrong but either way this was way too dark. The formula itself was really runny and not that great at covering spots and too dark for under the eye use. I actually ended up having to mix this with another foundation in order to make it thicker and lighter because i needed to use it up.

Ebay

Bioderma Crealine H2O Micellaire Solution - I am sure i don't need to tell you much about this baby but i'd like to add my two cents in! This is fantastic for removing make up as you all know however i do feel that the smell is a bit acidy... if you know what i mean? I don't know, maybe I use too much but none the less i still love it!

Well ladies we have come to the sad ending of this Empties tale
I hope you enjoyed

Love you and leave you!

Essie Mojito Madness

Okay, so i'm a tad obsessed over Essie nail polishes, an understatement considering that I own 23...
I know that Essie is a mixed brand of love and hate because of the lasting power. On me it last for a couple of days (nothing spectacular) it begins to rise at the front and then starts to chip slightly after about three days. I don't mind this because I love painting my nails and hate keeping one colour on my nails for long!
My latest purchase Is Essie Mojito Madness and I have completely fallen in love...
It's vibrant! It's summery and it's totally me! I never thought that i would love this polish as much as i do but my god, I think it looks fantastic! This is part of the diffusion line that Boots sell and you can get it here!

Have you guys tried Mojito Madness?
Hope you enjoyed!

Love you and leave you!

How To: Style Midi Dresses

I'm not going to lie, I'm not the person with the most style but when it comes to putting an outfit together i do believe that i'm not too shabby!

I recently bought two midi dresses from Missguided which you can find here and i also bought it in red here. They are quite plain and so i thought i had to jazz them up a little!

In these pictures i didn't wear an accessories just because i think each person has they're own tastes so i stuck specifically to clothing items.

By popping a patterned crop top over the dress and adding a thin belt adds more interest but doesn't do much for your shape unless you pop the belt completely over the crop top (no.)! This look is really casual and for everyday wear!

For a more sophisticated look i paired the dress and crop top with a cropped blazer. This would be great as a work look or (with the proper accessories) an evening out for dinner! The crop top and Blazer were both from Primark and the shoes are from Missguided.
This look is for a more rock style! Although instead of pairing the black dress i would go for a brighter colour like my red dress to give it a little pop! I really like this look and even with tights it looks great! I would also pop a chunky belt on just for fun! Leather Jacket is from Primark and the shoes are from Dr Martins.
Tucked into a pair of high waisted shorts on a hot summers day maybe? Or maybe with a cut like cardigan over top! The shorts are from International.
or with just a loose cardigan by itself! This is such a casual look! I love it with a thick knitted jumper over top as well! Cosy in the winter and still stylish! The cardagan is from Primark.
And finally.. pair it with matching shoes and hat for a more night time look! Curl your hair and some accessories and your golden! The hat is from New look and the shoes are from Deichmann.

There are many other ways to wear this for example, a high waisted skirt! Which is the next thing i need to pair this with!

That's all for now!
I hope you enjoyed!

Love you and leave you!

Haul #1

Uh-oh
So a trip into the city centre is never complete until I go into Boots and Primark!
However, I didn't go crazy which you will be happy to know (or not) .......

The Boots + online Haul

Bioderma Crealine H2O micellaire solution - I order these on ebay from the seller here, they arrived in good time and good packaging, together they cost £31.78  . So these will be my third and fourth bottles of these... to say i love them would be an understatement. They gave me a skin care routine! I was just so lazy before (don't lie you have all not taken your make up off the night before) but this solution makes it so easy!

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation - I've been looking at this foundation for a while and decided to just buy it on a whim after hearing ViviannaDoesMakeup talk about it in her recent video Best of the budget buys. I'm in shade 51 Light Vanilla (the lightest shade - no surprise there!) And the best thing about it... it only cost me £10.99! Extremely reasonably priced if you ask me!

Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer - Everyone and they're cat has heard of this product and if you haven't you have been marooned on a desert island for five years! This is another re-purchase of mine, I love this for under my eyes because it's good coverage and doesn't show fine lines or slide away during the day! Another really cheap by at only £4.19

Rimmel London 60 Seconds Nail Polish - In the colour "Rose Libertine". This is a beautiful baby pink colour that i thought would go well with my skin tone! And it was only £3.69 bargain!

Rimmel London Salon Pro Kate Nail Polish - In the colour "Hip Hop". I simply needed a nail polish to go with my Mac lipstick in "Cockney" which is a pretty red/pink lipstick. The polish itself i have never tried so look out for a mini review coming up. This retails as £3.99 in Boots.

Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush - In the shade "Soft Pink". This was another impulse buy fuelled by ViviannaDoesMakeup! I cannot wait to try this out especially as it was only £6.99

Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal -  In the shade "Bronze". I also have this in the shade "Nude" which i love for my waterline but i was looking for a brown liner for my lid on those natural (but still want to look presentable) days! This cost £4.49.

Maybelline New York Color Tattoo 24HR Cream Eyeshadow - In the shades "Pink Gold" which seems like a really you eye lide but better pink shad and "On And On Bronze" which i believe will be an amazing bronze for people like myself to enhance the blue eyes. I once again felt the need to splurge and join the bandwagon with these purchases and at only £4.99 each how could i resist!

Primark Haul

Textured Crombie - A navy boyfriend style jacket that i thought looked really cute but there was only 1. Imagine how surprised i was to find this it was my size -16!! I though mine! I as even more surprise when i got to the till point and the woman told me it was on sale for £10! Yes Bargain!

Printed Crops - This triangular patter caught my eye and I had to get it! I never buy crop tops because to be perfectly honest i don't think they're made for a girl of my shape and size, but I though "What the heck!" and bought it anyway.... i guess i just need to figure out how to style this so that it flatters my figure! And for only £8, it isn't like i'm losing much (just my dignity)!

SS Viscose Print - This was another crop top which i seen and absolutely fell head over heels with the print! Once again only £8!

I also bought two underwear sets however I thought it a little inappropriate to show them! The bra's were £7 each and the matching underwear was £3 each! All in all, a good day shopping with my mum!

I hope you guys enjoyed my first post on the big bad blogging world!

Love you and leave you!
